        Without conservation of energy. The game revolves around finding exploity ways to delete energy.

      I love ONI and have put several hundred hours into it, but Factorio certainly spoiled me in terms of game engine performance. My word ONI runs like crap comparatively. 😅

        Thermal/fluid dynamics and the differential equations that govern them are a bitch to compute even when working with toy models. Those really cool somewhat accurate simulations of fluid movement in ONI come at a cost.
