1·2 years agoSame, tho sometimes updates get messed up (unable to install) bcs of that and ofc you have to recheck your settings with every update.
There are also lil apps that help you with that.

9·2 years agoI find it very addictive actually, at least the endless scrolling lasts a bit longer than in Reddit, tho there is still more top stuff on Reddit (bcs there is more content that gets distilled into good content, whereas I feel like on average I see better content on Lemmy).
Tho if I need some technical review of some obscure product, Reddit is still where I look it up.

Price of gas is not the cost of gas.
It should include a way of getting the gases back into non-gas form and to reverse/mitigate any damages caused in the process. And the same for all of the supply chains (for gas and electricity, and any product really), can’t produce that much waste on a finite planet & just forget about it if there are no (complete, non-bs) recycling processes, natural or man-made.
Thats why plastic very much isn’t cost-efficient, it’s just cheap bcs legislators allow it to be.
Still way less deaths compared to what fossil fuels already did to us (not to mention the rest of nature), like cancer, mining related nastiness including transport, etc. Also there is more radioactive pollution from coal than nuclear plants (bcs of the volume & exhausts dumped into the air).

I agree, subjectively.
It’s still the first game I run with every PC upgrade.
SIN was so good (patched)! I even somehow remembered the day Sinclair was born when that date came irl.
Later when Episode 1 (of 1) came out I set my ringtone to its theme music.
I also satanise every input I can, as an extra level of security.
