Maybe you shouldn’t be able to buy an America sized bag of novelty plastic waste for 10 bucks.

I, too, am a human enjoying human activities as well as a daily visit to FrivTM. My participation has dropped a lot compared to when I only just joined. There is only so much us centric doomer content I can stomach, and Lemmy is so extremely political that it is impossible to just browse cat memes and have a good time. So I spend less time here I suppose.
Literally thousands of hours in stellaris and space engineers. Recently satisfactory as well.
When I was younger I also played a metric fuckton of world of Warcraft, though that thankfully is a lot less addictive nowadays.
That is some weird shit to get upset about, but I suppose I can understand it for a game that seems to have put a lot of effort into the proper related jiggle physics. If I bought a game specifically because it has super realistic anime ass I’d probably be very upset if they took those away.
Regular TV schedule is fine if there is some sort of prolonged break afterwards.
My point is that while star wars content is generally enjoyable, less is definitely more and if they would instead produce an occasional movie or season, released every year or two, people would get a lot less fatigued. And it would give the time needed to produce actually compelling content instead of deeply mediocre b and c plots with a star wars coating.
But thats no good as a subscription selling point I suppose.
The fact that there is a constant stream of star wars content is oversaturation in itself.
I am concerned that most users won’t understand that either
But isnt he asking how to use lemmy to also view mastodon posts? That seems fairly in line with the community.
Whatever trump does inside the united states doesn’t affect me. If he is closing or opening borders, if he is shitting his diapers, if he is dropping yet another incoherent ramble about something, doesnt matter to me at all.
This doesnt mean I wish to be ignorant of what foreign policies he pursues, it just means I dont need the constant barrage of irrelevant outrage.
E: also, we have our own right wingers gathering strength, why is that not of utmost importance to you as you say? Perhaps because it is irrelevant to you?
Would you like 5️ times per day updates on all the inane and to you entirely unrelatable and irrelevant day to day details of what the politicians in germany do or say? No?
Well tough shit it is now on every official news outlet, plastered over the internet and social media, and referenced anywhere you might come in contact with germans. You also get constant reminders that you should care about this despite the fact that you can’t vote in Germany and the fact that german domestic politics have zero effect on your existence.
Meanwhile hd2 runs just fine under Linux, without kernel fuckery.
As an occasionally returning player, I think the ah access is massively overrated. What is it that people are buying from there that they can’t buy in the capital, but at the same time must be available on the road?
I have need for an auction house off road maybe once a month? Probably less often. And when I do I can just log onto a banking alt located right at an auction house, mail it to my main and grab it from any mailbox (engineering has portable mailboxes too by the way).
hell yes. the movie is really good in my opinion, not sure why it struggled when it was out.
We see this and think of an amazing and essential public service. A capitalist sees this and tries to find a way to make money with it, and the first step is to ruin the free product.
No, you can’t. If you believe that academia is corrupted by money to the point you walk away from it, taking their accolades and cash prizes would make you a complete hypocrite. And nobody would take you or anything you say afterwards seriously any more.
There is no taking the money and staying true to your principles here. Either you say the whole sphere of academia is corrupt and fucked, or you take a nice big cash prize and play the game. Can’t say taking money is bad and then take that money yourself
