That’s a shame, that was the studio that worked on Guitar Hero Live. I kind of liked that game

Divinity Original Sin is their IP, there’s a chance they’re working on a game in that series
They’ve only made a standalone video addressing stuff a few times on their channel, the vast majority of the time they save it for WAN Show or at most a community post.
He said on the WAN show that when they dropped Honey a few years ago, the news was going around all over creator circles and a lot of other creators dropped them then too. And they didn’t make a video because at the time only the affiliate yoinking was known, and the audience would probably call them shills for making a video about how they’re losing money due to their audience saving money.
I don’t think his defense is 100% airtight, but it’s useful context.
I bought a ticket, thanks for the post. I don’t expect to win, but it’d be cool if I did and it’s a good excuse to send $10 to some cool projects
Is this similar to how Mozilla is set up?
I know apps don’t like having subscriptions through Apple/Google where they take 15-30%, but it does make it easier to cancel sometimes
I’m visually impaired so it’s entirely possible I missed them
I didn’t know until today that you could opt out of it
Where can I get death certified? Does CompTIA offer it?
Delisting has never meant it is removed from your library for a paid game, in my memory. Just means you can’t buy it anymore
I thought Amazon Music was a small up-charge on top of prime?
This is an interesting perspective, thank you. I definitely learned where Live Nation was getting most of their profits from when the water fountains were hidden on the other side from the food and drink vendors, and wanted $8 for a bottle of water (or $16 for a PBR!)
I do think that part of the Ticketmaster hate is them being the bad guy for the venues or artists with the prices etc, but they can definitely be doing more. My main issue is that venues can either exclusively use Ticketmaster or not at all, and all the hidden fees. Granted, if the artist chooses “all-lin” pricing it includes the fees, but it feels manipulative that I have to mentally add 30% to the price of tickets when I’m looking.
The town my parents live in would rather pay fines every year than build the state mandated amount of affordable housing and risk, gasp, lowering property values!
Exactly. I told her that 8gb might be fine for a year or two, but if she wants this thousand plus dollar laptop to last four years she needs to invest the extra money now. Especially once she told me she might want to play Minecraft or Shadow of the Tomb Raider on it
My sister just bought a MacBook Air for college, and I had to beg her to spend the extra money on 16gb of memory. It feels like a scam that it appears cheap with the starting at price, but nobody should actually go with those “starting at” specs.
Phone maybe, but not a SIM card with data. Although you can do a lot without a SIM card if your school has public WiFi I guess
I strongly believe that a large part of the reason China is so strict with underage phone and game restrictions is because the parents are at work for too long to do any real parenting. Ideally parents should be the ones making those choices and actually monitoring their kids, but since I don’t have kids I can’t really say for myself.
I can invite too if people need it, shoot me a DM
I switched to Nobara Linux at the end of last year, and for the most part when I consider how often I’d have to fix Windows stuff, it’s not that much more work. Still not the same though, and I keep a Windows partition around for certain stuff even though I groan having to load into it
