

Ok, first of all, I fully agree with you, this is a horrible tragedy regardless of what type of car or bike was involved.
I didn’t try do shift blame or derail anything, calm down, I just woke up when I wrote that.
Don’t treat people don’t confess their undying support for your cause as the enemy, that is letting perfect be the enemy of good.
If I was a dictator, then yes, SUVs are unsafe for both occupants and other people/cars outside of the car, they have a high center of gravity making them prone to flip over.
I also have a hard time believing that the entire family is win the car on the majority of trips´you take with it.
I’d recommend a station wagon, like a Volvo V90, V60 or so for normal use, and renting a VW Multivan if you really need it.
