Hello there. I don’t remove my leg hairs typically but summer is upon us + I am closeted and have a family that’s anal about it.

So I was thinking in just trimming with a scissor or blade, but there is also the option of laser removal. However I was told that lasers permanently destroy your hairs, which is bad. I want to have them after I start with hormones since where I live men don’t shave unless they are flamboyantly gay. Really, I saw more teens with painted nails than shaved legs because at least painted nails are a metal rock aesthetic.

I bet laser would be a pretty bad idea if I want to have hairs still after T. But even before T I’m pretty hairy because of PCOS. But maybe it wouldn’t and maybe they would grow back with T, specially if I don’t take too many sessions.

So, FtMs of Reddit: To laser or not to laser on my situation?

Yeah, buzz clippers that can get close to the skin look like shaved legs from a short distance, but they don’t cut the hair to the skin so there’s no irritated ingrown hairs and then you can stop shaving whenever (also it’s quick and easy to do
