It’s not. It’s just one of those things that people groan about because when you first learn it the concept is confusing. After about 15 minutes of instruction on a unit circle, it’s not a big deal at all.

One of those throwaway lines that still make me grin.

Two rejoinders to that: the video games and the books. Rogue Squadron, Shadows of the Empire, and even that one game in the arcade (that was so frustrating) were amazing. I personally wasn’t as much of a fan of the Thrawn trilogy as some, but the books about the kids of the movies’ characters were pretty fun to get through.

I think the majority of the X and millennial fans fell in love through those just as much as from the original movies.

The untold story: 1.) the grade was curved due to everyone’s low numbers

2.) no one wanted to get near the rocks to identify them because there was one weird mofo walking on all fours around the displays, randomly snarling and licking each one

First, they aren’t critical in either of those roles, and second, there are a few thousand species of mosquitoes, and only five of them cause issues with human health. Get rid of those five, and you haven’t caused much ruckus. The others will be fine in their continued parts.

Now, that being said, nobody knows for certain what will happen if all five are completely eradicated, but the sentiment above seems to be the consensus among people who have studied them.

I’d just prefer to tell them how to get rid of carbon in their bodies, and if they looked up the process they would get the real info about it dealing with carbon. It’s not my fault they don’t know the context of what would happen when the carbon goes away.

Aye, going into it now with the knowledge of where most stuff is has definitely taken some of the shine off. I’m currently playing it again though. It’s a bloody black hole that I can’t escape from long term.

I was with you until the Deep Rock Survivor, but good lord, that one is way better than halls of torment. While it’s not necessary, the ability to mine traps and hallways to escape is a sweet addition.

Lol, I do what I can. Let me try harder. I love hollow, and play back through dark souls when I can. Hollow knight’s world doesn’t quite have the same replay value for me. Dark souls doesn’t quite have enough of a game play loop difference to make me even care about the different weapons.

Too easy, frankly, and the awesome ways you can modify yourself don’t match with Dark Souls. Actually having significant, meaningful differences in your combat isn’t Dark Souls.

For anyone not believing this, go to https://consumer.risk.lexisnexis.com/consumer and do that consumer report. They are (depending on your state) required to tell you everything they have on you, and they include where it came from. It’s eye-opening.

Sure, facebook has been doing it for years. They build shadow profiles on people, allegedly ‘only’ (massive air quotes around that one) so if those people ever join they’ll have links and photos and such already waiting for them.

It definitely counts as an unreasonable change. If you quietly accept it, or quit due to it, you won’t get the help. If you set things up in your favor by replying to the mandate with language along the lines of ‘such a significant change to working conditions requires a renegotiation of my contract’ then you’re placing yourself in a good position to say that you were constructively dismissed, not that you quit.

A change from working wherever you are (which could be hours away if you were full remote) to the office is just as significant as being moved from one metropolis to another.
