Gotta say this feels like a stretch to me dawg.
I went into Walmart yesterday for my annual soap/shampoo/mouthwash bulk purchase as they have the products I like at the best price (in bulk). I got to the section and it was all locked up behind glass…
I turned around and walked right out. No idea where I’m gonna get it from now, but I’m not gonna support that bullshit.
The claims of mass losses due to shoplifting have been proven false multiple times over. These are just racist store policies intended to make you spend more time in their store or to buy online or from mobile apps.
Enshitification keeps on keeping on.
The irony in this is fucking delightful. No one wants Americans using this kind of brain rot social media. Maybe that’s a sign…
What percentage of the gamers that you know would just be able to find and download an emulator from a git repo hosted on .onion or .i2p?
For me, that’s just me. None of my gamer buddies would put in that effort, they’d just buy a product or play a game from steam.
I think we’re still a long way from privacy focused protocols being mainstream in the way the web has become in the last 15 years.
Xbox Game Pass for PC is an incredible value, even with the caveat of having to run windows (which sucks so bad). That’s always my top rec for PC gamers.
Elden Ring is still my number one game. It’s awesome and will run great on your new PC as well as your deck. It’s also got a lot in common with your listed games.
Grounded is a great game as well! It’s a reasonably difficult survival crafting game (like Subnautica). Same goes for Return to Moria.
Return to Moria has been really fun! Playing online with my buddy all day the last two days.
Pretty slow moving for a survival/crafting game, but we’re both big Tolkien fans and the fan service is pretty great.
Boss fights have been quite interesting and when progression finally happens it feels really satisfying.
Weather and other very complex and hard to predict stuff like fluid dynamics, things that don’t have a human or completely random behaviour, is probably the best thing an AI could do for humanity.
Also could be good for understanding animal communication like dolphins etc.
I don’t think it will really be able to do much actual human work, though. Maybe management…

Only reserve IPs that are outside of the DHCP range you’ve configured.
I’m still thoroughly stoked for this game.
Wat. There are three sides my dudes. What am I missing?
I use/admin Linux each and every day at a professional level and at least once a week I’m final panel doggo.
If you’re doing it right, containers are less like VMs and more like cgroups. If orchestrated correctly it uses less system resources to run lots of services on a single system/node.
That said, I’m a devops/infrastructure/network professional and not a developer, so maybe I’m missing something from the dev experience… But I love containers.
Docker does kinda suck now, though. Use podman or another interface instead if you can help it.
Airsonic Advanced and DSUB on Android are pretty good options since DSUB has advanced local caching options.
I aquire my music then run it through Picard for tagging which places it into my NAS where it is mounted to airsonic and jellyfin containers for consumption.
The jellyfin apps have gotten a lot better and I find myself using feishin and finamp more often lately.
Lenovo X1 carbon is what you are looking for. I got one (10th Gen) and slapped fedora on it and it’s been absolutely awesome.
Battery life could be better, but I haven’t tweaked it.
Good luck finding a quality new laptop with Linux support that also has a rj45 port. Framework might be an option though. But I just use a gigabit Ethernet usb3 adapter and it works fine
A large format (12 inch) tablet running Linux with stylus and external monitor support
100% if that country is in northern Europe. Hard nope if it’s in South America.
I’d buy a ticket tomorrow if there was a job for me in a Scandinavian country and I didn’t need to speak the language immediately.
I love my x1 from lenovo. No bloat at all and excellent customer service. I broke a USB port and they sent a guy to my house to fix it.
I’ve found the opposite to be the case unfortunately. Plex “just works” while my jellyfin server had almost constant issues with subtitles (two of my frequent users need these because of hearing problems) and would frequently crash requiring docker restarts.
I adopted jellyfin very early, used it for many (maybe 6?) years and these problems only got worse over time.
I always prefer open source (often to a fault) but I am glad I switched to Plex a few months ago. I got the lifetime pass for cheap for black Friday. I still leave jellyfin running for a few users, but everyone else has already switched over.
