  • I’m saying this as a 2 year convert Firefox user: mostly easily replaceable. Sure, I can browse pretty much every page that I can on chrome. However, a few sites don’t work the same way - sometimes because of the site’s conscious decision, sometimes because of Firefox.

Take Facebook, for example. On desktop, I can’t make voice calls anymore from the desktop site. For a while it was possible with non encrypted chats, but now pretty much all of them are encrypted, and FF is not compatible with that. I also can’t watch h265 videos in my chats anymore. I’m still sticking with FF, but I just can’t easily say that FF is just as good for everything (I’m still not going back to chrome).

  • I absolutely love the design but I’m surprised nobody has pointed out that this goes against the very purpose of wrist watches: you can’t just turn your wrist and look at the time.

I know it’s just a press of a button, but if only one of your hands is full (depending whether you’re right or left handed) then it gets annoying rather quickly.

As for the Rolex obsession: I’ve lost several watches, but every single time I just re-bought my cheap Casio. I love it and it does the job quite reliably. Also, I personally dislike analog watches.

I’ve done that a few times. Mostly when the previous bag was used the night before, and I was super sleepy in the morning, so didn’t even bother ditching it, saving 1.3 seconds and thinking it would make my new tea stronger.

…yeah, I don’t do that anymore. But this is why I used to.

UPDATE: I just made my tea just the regular way this morning. While stirring, I realised I had left the previous night’s red berry tea bag in it. I didn’t want to waste an otherwise perfectly fine bag of Earl Grey, so I did it again. Not intentionally, though. Also, note to self: red berry Earl Grey is not great.

  • I had the same thought initially, and unfortunately it wasn’t just GTA. However, IMHO Diablo II Resurrected was an amazing exception, and I’m sure there are others. Plus, the OP’s question was probably about an ideal case and they wanted to know what people have been missing from the past.

Realistically, I wouldn’t expect a decent comeback of Guitar Hero 3 for example, but it sucks that it doesn’t really work on Win10/11 anymore, and while Clone Hero exists, it doesn’t have the same “story” mode as GH3 had, with characters, milestones and such. Hell, you can’t even get “booed out”.

Too bad that as you mentioned, even if there was demand, a random big company would just buy the rights, do some lazy upscale and sell it like it was gourmet shit.

  • Buying another box, bag, etc. of soap, toilet paper, tooth paste and whatever long lasting product before it runs out. It doesn’t expire (fast), therefore I always have a second, full bag as a buffer, and as soon as I have to open the second one, I put it on the shopping list so there is always a buffer bag and I don’t get annoyed if I still forget to buy one or it’s out of stock.

It’s been years since I had to use some weird substitute for toilet paper.
