a lot of people on here are geezers and don’t understand it. they are literally calling USD (the actual currency of the United States!!!) a pump and dump scam. thats all you need to know.
Like you, I am a living person with memories, emotions, and interests. But from your perspective, I’m just another picture on a screen. Isn’t that concerning?

I only say this because the parent comment was in reference to payments and the reply was talking about investment inflation / deflation. for strictly sending payments, stablecoins can be okay. but as for crypto shit as a whole I’m not a fan of what it’s become.
except there are things like tether and usdc which are fixed to the value of the US dollar permanently.
same here in northern cal. not even an inch this winter. just dry sunny weather.
at first for about a week I had a horrible headache. it didn’t feel like a normal headache either, it felt like a mix between the sinus pressure type of headache and a fever headache. I also was sleeping 3 times as much during this phase, like I’m talking sleep before work, get home the next day and sleep 5 more hours. wake up eat dinner sleep again. but eventually I got passed it after that week or so. felt better ever since. saves a lot of money too.
caffeine. I was so wired from drinking like 5 redbulls every day that I wasn’t sleeping anymore, maybe a few hours here and there. I was starting to go insane. so I remember at one point on my work lunch break, February 27th 2024, I told myself I won’t ever drink these again unless it’s a situation where I need to be awake (like if I’m on an overnight layover with an early flight for example, which is rare enough). I sleep until about noon now on my days off, it’s fucking awesome.
right in the home page I spotted a link to a so-called plebbit token.
amazing (^_-)-☆
I didn’t even know about it until a year or two ago. but now me and my friends have a tradition of watching it together.
I actually started playing Pokémon creepy black (GBA) the other day. it basically turns your game into the creepypasta of the same name, but also alters the dialogue here and there which leads to some funny moments.
i will be getting this.
I will not be elaborating further
good
I feel like with lemmy and how differently the instances are from eachother, it’s probably better to look around an instance and decide if it’s right for you before you join. I feel a lot of people go into any then get shocked when they inevitably break a rule and get banned.
the great migration to another investor-backed patiently waiting disaster. enjoy it while it’s good. if only they used activitypub. Mastodon is just too confusing for the average person, it will never take off. bluesky streamlines everything into being simple and understandable to the average user. I laugh when I see people circle jerking about being better than twitter when in reality it was started by the same people and all it takes is someone with too much money and it’ll be another fall-off story.
edit: I say this as someone who uses it, beats using shitter in it’s festering decaying state.
finally going back and playing dark souls remastered as someone who has only played demon’s souls. so far it feels very familiar yet different. definitely has that from software jankyness.
asrock is a pc parts manufacturer. used to see them a lot but in recent years not so much. I like their motherboards.
