It does what i need it to do, make/receive calls, surf the web and play videos when i’m out and about. For gaming i prefer Steam deck or PC. Other than that i’m not a lover of smart phones, in general i think they suck. If i could make/receive calls from a steam deck, i would trash my phone in a second.

As a linux guy i’ve been putting my money on AMD, but we have to be realistic. If AMD’s board/investors demand Lisa suck the orange oaf’s dick, she’ll be on her knees before him.

I’d rather see phones with Ubuntu Touch, PostMarketOS, and Mobian OS’s.

I think having a marketplace full of alternatives helps prevent that kind of entrenchment somewhat. Here is my problem though, who decides what an echo chamber is? I like a good back and forth conversation, but hate bad faith arguments. If people talk stupid shit, how much tolerance should one reasonably expect?

I remember hating the idea, during the age when games came in boxes. Now i support Steam with the tremendous support they’ve given the Linux platform. Most games i have are games on Steam, but i do have a bunch on GoG, as well as Itch.io. Don’t keep all your eggs in one basket, but have to admit the Steam basket is humongous.

I use the back buttons with Eurotruck simulator/ATS, and for whatever extra functions i want with other games. Also use them with Firefox on the desktop for paging forward or backward.

It looks like it has potential, but definitely needs some more polishing.
