Some people just don’t live theater, that doesn’t mean people are wrong for liking it as a film. And I would posit that the majority of the hype you are seeing for the film is because of its history as a Broadway hit.

Agreed on Gaben. So what if he hasn’t given us the third [pick game]. At least he hasn’t gone out of his way to fuck over society for another penny.
It isn’t a matter of which is better - you use both, and more.
To be fair, the LiDAR was primarily used for parking. Still a stupid decision to remove it. There were plenty of values it provides…but those cars were never going to drive themselves even if they did have LiDAR.
Might I suggest you use the time machine you created to go back and talk yourself out of making the climate change reversal machine. I can think of nothing worse than for you to feel like you are stupid.
This reeks of selling games on a “pay per new game save” kind of move. If “replay” is a threat, how long until they move to eliminate that?
The book industry will be doing this with digital copies if they haven’t already.
Given the industry’s “you aren’t buying, you are renting” mentality… very, very optimistic.
The problem with this way of thinking is that there are solutions to eliminate accidents even without eliminating self-driving cars. By dismissing the concern you are saying nothing more than it isn’t worth exploring the kinds of improvements that will save lives.
Correction - Older Teslas had lidar, Musk demanded they be removed because they cut into his profits. Not a huge difference but it does show how much of a shitbag he is.
low visibility, including sun glare, fog and airborne dust
I also see a ton of accidents when the sun is in the sky or if it is dusty out. \s
Overlooking the concept of a failsafe? How did they get past the concept of the subscription model?

Even fictional evil companies need to meet goals set by the board.
Did the lady have 5 kids to feed?
Could probably pull that off with meta information to determine the age of the photo.
They had centuries to make pong, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up with context-free assumption.
Eliminating QA is a huge value. We all know it reduces costs relating to employing people, but that’s just the start. It eliminates the number of bugs found and reduces the amount of work that comes with it. All in all it helps projects to release on time. There could be no problem with this, clearly.
Great, neither Google search or reddit work anymore. They deserve each other.
A lot of us feel really bad about how we treat non-white races…
Granted, a lot of us feel really good about it too…
Either way, it weighs on us.
Wasn’t this the same justification that America used to send factory jobs overseas? I feel repeating verbatim what the US has stated is the ultimate sign of respect.
