That’s especially fun for those of us on motorcycles. I found a particularly horrible road to ride a sport touring bike on several years ago and would have loved this feature on osm.

I have a dual socket R620 with 256gb RAM that I never turn on (proxmox) and another box with a single xeon 1518d (esxi). Collapsing both down to a repurposed Sophos SG135 (atom c3558) with 32g ram, 512gb sata and a noctua fan (proxmox). I already use another sg135 running opnsense. I run mostly lightweight loads anymore (HomeAssistant, netbox, unifi controller) so I really don’t need things turned on that have overkill horsepower. I have a separate file server that I need to upgrade sometime (old 4 core bulldozer amd) but it keeps chugging away.
Are you doing this nas on custom hardware? Curious about the build if so.
Grabbed the mass effect series for under a fiver. Played for a few hours and realized I was not enjoying it at all.
I picture this as Tom Cruise from tropic thunder. That’s his bad guy persona.
Sure! He has an opinion, and you have an opinion - and you’re both right!
Thank you for this. Just recently picked up and played through twice Gris and Neva. Even though they’re short as well I really find myself loving the visuals, gameplay and the atmosphere created by these games.
I’ve found that while Bluetooth works well enough, my admittedly cheap Bluetooth mouse has an ever so slight lag to it. I only use it when out in the field working but it’s disconcerting to say the least.
I like USB C - mostly. If only Logitech would actually create a tiny usb-c unifying receiver…
I still have an audio CD with their malware embedded. Ripped it under Linux, no problem.
I was thinking of this exact video too.
Monster truck madness… played the hell out of that back in the day
Just read a review on Amazon today about a newer brother printer that they’ve instituted a lock out on toner. Was telling a colleague that they were decent enough to not do that… But then I ate my words
I could understand if you were buying a pay-as-you-go phone on the cheap… but this is an iPhone you’re talking about. What’s the minimum, $799? I think they can afford to toss a cable your way if you need one.
I never knew Microsoft even had support. Was part of a very large (worldwide) enterprise and remember the other teams complaining about lack of anything when trying to escalate issues.
There’s definitely some water in those!
Some companies in the US have a deal to where they match on 401k. One such organization puts in 5% for your 2%. Two percent is low enough it wouldn’t be a hit to almost any cash in your pocket given that the money is taken out pre tax.
I work healthcare adjacent and some providers were affected as expected. Hoping as well that those critical systems were not, but that chance is non zero.
I mean… 802.11g is still able to be used. Even b is supported under the radios I’m familiar with.
Holy hell, the shit the pants statement is so on point.
