Very cool – I’ve never heard of that technique but it makes sense, and I can see it working here. I love those more artsy types of edits, like dodging/burning, where you’re not just clicking a global slider…

Oh, sick! I had a D7000 for a good while. I think I looked at the 11-16, but eventually went for a Sigma 12-24 after I got a D800 (my current kit, which I don’t use enough lately…). Anyway, great pic. Looks like maybe you did an Orton effect kinda thing on it in post…?
great pic!! What did you shoot it on?
Rocket League does…
Awesome, thanks! Offline is definitely more my speed, it sounds like, but, I could see getting into the dailies sometimes.
Very nice. I’ve only played story mode, and not all the way through yet. What are the main differences between that and online?
Damn, that’s amazing!
Yo, I started FNV for my first time this week! A friend of mine is always raving about it, so he sent me instructions to get it all modded out (Viva New Vegas modlist), so I did that and I’m off to the races. So far so good… it was a bit of a grind to get past the first couple of quests (I kept getting my ass handed to me), but now that I’ve killed some convicts and stolen their stuff, I’m in much better shape. Also I figured out I can sleep in beds that aren’t red.
I also heard that about not getting involved with factions yet…
hmmmmmm you’re tempting me to get back into this one. I think I have 60 or so hours on it? Not enough to try everything yet, but definitely enjoyed chilling in space.
Oh that’s cool. I did similar on a recent hiking trip, one where I’d normally bring my tripod, ND filters, lenses etc… So heavy. And yeah, it was nice. Also, to not be constantly thinking “how to set up this shot”, just, enjoy it and snap some photos.
Whoa, dang, I didn’t know you could shoot raw on phones. What’s this world coming to! Time for me to sell my d800 before it’s too late! Kidding… Sorta… But, nice job, never would’ve guessed that was from a phone. :-)
Beautiful shot. Did you focus stack, or just use a small enough aperture? I like the colors and composition.
Way to get the “X” and the cat’s eyes in focus. Tough with that shallow DOF!
Yes, exactly. If you live in a solid blue or red state, your vote is a drop in the bucket, so it won’t matter if you vote third party. But in swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania… in 2016, the number of votes won by Jill Stein was slightly greater than the difference between Trump/Clinton. Ouch! Was it worth it? Did it move the country left?
Very nicely processed!
a good dropperful of liquid vitamin D is good for me once a week. make sure it’s enough – the typical recommended daily values (at least in the US) are pretty low.
I totally hear that… When the light is just right, can’t fumble around :)
That’s really nice. The graininess gives it an “old photo” vibe – was that on purpose? (if not, how/why so grainy?)
I love how it transfers from pink/goodvibes/pokemon to CALL-OF-DUTY/GIANT-FUCKING-REDBULL
