The top IP lawyer at Nintendo agreed that emulators are technically legal at a panel for intellectual property rights.
They run afoul of the law when they bypass encryption, recreate copyrighted programs, or point users to pirated material.

Search (with some double checking), rough drafting and frameworks, templates, and scripting.
Anyone who tries to say Lower Decks wasn’t respectful of the heart of Trek, just was not paying attention at all.
First time I’m hearing about either of these which is going to be a problem.
That’s pretty much how it works. I don’t know if it’s really a should/shouldn’t conversation per se. Money is still getting donated to the needy, it’s just also kind of undercutting what the company should be doing in terms of taxes and stuff. And some people just can’t get themselves to make the time to donate directly.
That said, 100%, if you can get yourself to make the time to donate directly to a cause, that is absolutely undeniably better than letting the company do the roundup thing and you should totally do that instead.

Back in the day, deep down you knew what you were really getting. I’m a little annoyed these days when indie games use marketing visuals that look like they could be in-game for a modern title and then it’s all pixel art style. I get that you don’t make a pixel art poster, but in that case, go all-in on an art cover don’t let it be mistaken for game graphics.
Dang, my nightstand printer is such a great white noise generator too. ;p

Have to add this to my list.
Behavior truly in keeping with the finest traditions of Reddit.

Loving the added downvotes without any comments, really supporting the case.
Stop posting this, it’s a non-story, basic emulation is legal but encryption breaking and reproduction of software, which all their modern cases are built on, IS NOT.
