God, I miss Subnautica!
God, I miss Subnautica!
Bazzite is full fledged desktop OS. Perfect for beginners
I’ve heard so many good things about Control. I tried it twice, and couldn’t manage to play more than a couple hours twice. I guess it’s just too creepy for me to like it.
You’re certainly not alone! (I’m older too)
Really cool!
Glad to hear you enjoyed it! It’s not easy at first, there are a few missions a bit janky, and although I loved the intention, the whole monastery part was frustrating. But man, that setting! The story’s good, the combat gets better and it’s so different than most games that I highly recommend it!
I just found your comment, that was very helpful thank you!
Ha! Funny that, I had issues with my WiFi card too! I could connect but wouldn’t have the right certificates. I solved this by using an Ethernet cable.
Thanks that’s good to know! Any performance issues? Are you torrenting with it?
Thanks! Yes that’s the idea.
Thanks. I might simply go for the raspberry pi solution as well.
Thanks, that is the idea!
Old distro and lack of packages
Edit: I did manage to install Puppy Linux onto it, but I was severely limited by the CPU which is 32bits. I’m trying another old laptop next! Thanks everyone!
Thanks, very helpful !
Thanks! I haven’t thought of the 32 bit issue… I might give it a try anyway for the experience!
I’d like to go low cost at the beginning but thanks!
Thanks! I had installed Mac OSX on it back in the day so I’m hopeful.
Thanks, it’s removable
I see what you mean. But I’m a Linux beginner myself and found that their package manager has everything I need. I’m guessing it’s the one from Fedora as it was the same when I installed Nobara last year.
