  • It depends on the area. English Ivy is not native to the US, and it can fucking suck. It can easily take over entire areas. Since it re roots itself, it’s awful to remove.

It’s great in it’s native environment

Just… don’t use it in the US. Plant natives plants. There are lots of incredible native vines.

  • It was a cheap drama wrapped in a military sci Fi, which is such a strange mix.

Sometimes it worked really well. But honestly I found myself wanting all the military sci Fi and often getting blue balls

“Listen up we now have an ENTIRE FUCKING SPACE SHIP, that’s right, built on earth, for humanity, warp fucking drive, GUNS”

“OH and it’s going to get pummeled on every single encounter.” The actual first voyage is the Prometheus getting taken out by like… Missiles from a modern civilization

There’s a smother option but it takes 5ish years of leaving smothered.

There’s the roundup spray option, which is probably the most effective currently? It’s critical you spray at the right time (after it flowers)

I saw one option of repeatedly cutting it to eventually starve the plant of energy. I suspect there’s some specifics there about when it’s ok to cut though.
