if you are on codeberg you are a good FOSS developer
Very sus. This article is not technically counvincing at all. Probably a few students who dream of inventing the next big thing. Hash tables complexity was mathematically proven to be generally optimal. If you think you optimized it it’s because your tests don’t reflect the common real world
It’s kinda broken because you have to use the same build but 99% of the time they are not synced across platforms
They said it will. Hopefully it will work better than with civ6
Do you speak french too? I’m french myself and we use master for so many normal things. Americans don’t get that word right because their langage lost many of its meanings. It’s funny to see people get offended just because they misunderstand the etymology of a word
I have been working on turning the official Reddit app into a Lemmy client. Why? Because fuck spez
Reddit could disable new posts, fire all its employees, and still generate ad revenue for all the content that we had been producing in the past
This hypes me so much more than GPT-based tools
Came here to say the same thing. It worked very well
Unhappy with the current Map statu quo? Join OSM contributors with the gamified app Street Complete (also available on fdroid)
Youtube ReVanced is flawless. It’s easy to patch
It isn’t right but it’s a solution. I will have to do for now
Whatever distribution you end up using, I would recommend you take a look at Ansible. It’s a way to describe all your config and store it in a git repository. It might be overkill for you, but if you like to make things right, you should enjoy it

I mean, that’s the one thing he is right about. Also, it’s far from being secure. I somehow made the DNS system break someday, as I was able to “buy” an already-registered domain. The domain ownership was overriden and the original owner couldn’t do anything. I have not been able to replicate the bug on any other target, but understanding the bug and finding an exploit is basically unlocking god-mode on 99% of computers as you can mitm all you want with this
If only they used a distributed protocol like ipfs, we wouldn’t be in this situation
