I always say that thinking before speaking is a bit like wiping before going number two.
Maybe that’s why I don’t have any friends.

My day-to-day stuff stays in sync via syncthing on my two laptops, my desktop and my home server. They all run btrfs, so I won’t be syncing any flipped bits around.
Home server rsyncs from my VPS once a week. When that’s fine, it rsyncs itself over to a hetzner storage over sshfs+gocryptfs.
Four copies at home, one in the cloud.
Me, too. I’ve got some extra buoyancy on account of being fat.
While servicing my sailing yacht I dropped a part of the furler in the water while docked. A new piece was stupidly expensive and would take two weeks to get, while I was cruising on a schedule.
So I dropped the anchor and climbed down the chain to look for it. At the end my wife found it. We probably spent a good three hours diving and feeling around in the soft mud for it.
DIPSTICK to enable chests in rise of the trial. SEEYA for god mode where the protagonist just walks around with his hand of God yawning at how boring it is when there’s no challenge. CUJO for dog mode.
Also, LONDON and NODNOL to enable/disable fog.
I’ve tried libreelec on a raspberry pi 4, but it just doesn’t pass the wife test.
We have a thomson streaming stick 140G (EU branding for ONN). We just use jellyfin, smarttube and our national public service streaming apps. It’s in apps-only mode, but Google still injects one ad on the home screen. I didn’t bother with a custom launcher just yet.
I went over to purelymail, but it’s in .us
It’s not fancy encrypted like proton, but it’s very affordable and straight forward to set up for your own domains.
+1 for purelymail.
I’ve had my personal domain on gmail and most recently proton. Proton got too pricy when I wanted to add another couple of domains. After some research I landed on purelymail, and it’s been smooth sailing to set up and use.
Use btrfs-convert to convert ext4 to btrfs.
NTFS is 31 years old and not modern by any standard. Avoid if you care about your data.
Well, sure. If you did it wrong the first time around. For everyone else, just run “btrfs scrub <device>”
Use a modern filesystem that manages file integrity for you.
I use btrfs.
Don’t forget to scrub and checksum your drive before making backups. You don’t want to copy over rotten bits.
Same goes for the backup. And the backup’s backup.
I won a keg of beer on the entry ticket to a local beer festival.
A local hotel/chateau had organised it. They had failed with their marketing, and managed to pick the same weekend as a much larger beer festival in the same city.
I got ticket #26 on day 1, Saturday. I don’t think they sold more than ten tickets after me that day. I walked past with my dogs the following day and there were like four people there.
Oh, and I also won the demo competition at a local demoparty. First prize was a bag of chips and a brush for doing dishes.
And the 64k intro competition at the biggest demoparty at the time. First prize was a big-ass box of sponsored hardware - graphics cards and processors and stuff.
This is more like that incel who repulsed girls in high school, and is now in his 40s
Don’t forget that he used to be a moderator of r/jailbait

They planted two plum trees and one cherry tree. I picked so many plums this year. Still have a bunch on the freezer ready to go in pies. Made two batches of slivovice moonshine back in the fall just so they wouldn’t go to waste.
What site is that?
Just asking so I know what to avoid.
If you like what you we in the shadows, to might also enjoy “our flag means death”.
Created by and starring Waititi. Based on the true story of the gentleman pirate.
Sweet! Tempo is the best subsonic client I’ve found for Android. Hoping to use it for a long time.
Get your own domain. Don’t host your own.
I’ve had the same domain on gmail, proton and now purelymail.
