Its also how children’s shows and merchandize is sold.
Its the opposite of mysterious
The arbitrary numbers are that NASA should have “more minorities than 10 years ago”. Why 10 years ago? Why more then they had then? Isn’t NASA famous for working on DEI for more than 50 years, before it was even called DEI?
If they had or have unfair hiring practices, show me an example. Surely theres someone who was the most qualified but passed over for being a minority.
I’m not against DEI, just not every company is the same. Also I dont see much DEI for jobs where white people are the minority. I got fired from a job in my teens because the supervisor thought I was a lazy white person who " couldn’t even do the jobs our women do", and 90% of the workers were from Mexico. Wheres my DEI initiative?
Maybe I love hard labour and it sucks I can’t get a job in it because everyone thinks I’ll be lazy and demand extra benefits.
Here’s an example of NASA discriminating, and the legal process to rectify it. Thats appropriate. Showing some arbitrary numbers and saying they aren’t high enough is nonsense.
A company that doesnt discriminate might need to hire people it doesnt want to just to fill a quota. Thats wasteful, and disrespectful to the people hired.
I’m saying those statistics do not say that NASA discriminates against non-whites. They could, but theres no proof of it. Applying a blanket rule to all business whether they are discriminating or not is over-reaching.
Sounds like they were already only hiring qualified people.
Forcing DEI where there was no problem causes a problem.
There are already millions caught in the crosshairs. Its not a choice between doing nothing and saving lives, and doing something and losing them. We are losing them both ways but by doing nothing people evade social responsibility.
Surely there will be waves of protestors being kicked out on the streets with their families, left to starve in ditches with nothing they can do.
Cool study. What evidence is there that NASA has an unfair hiring practice they need to adjust for?
Okay yeah this literally happened to me too with my old account, although eventually I did recover it. Their self service stuff is bullshit. Also the psn requirement of course.
Might be worth checking out some comparison videos, some prefer the base game visuals.
I honestly don’t think the remaster helps, but I’m a huge fan of the original still. Its not been enough time for a real remaster in my opinion.
They were trying to either profit off the data collection directly or use it to increase future sales or improve marketing.
They tried the stick, which was you can’t launch the game without an account, when they should have used the carrot instead, which would be giving in game bonuses for logging in and willingly giving them your data.
Also part of the problem is that Sony does make good games, and has for a while. They are games people want to play so that makes it more frustrating.
I’m not disagreeing with you but can I ask what made it so hard to get through the PS account login?
Ive never tried it that way, I usually use a controller from the couch but theres some games that doesnt work well. I dont think I would do well with satisfactory on a couch and tv setup with kbm, even if it was a normal mouse.
Are you talking about the tomb raider that came out in 2013?
There are mouse and keyboard devices made for using from a couch too, they usually have some sort of track ball type thing for the mouse. Usually the tricky part is making it so you can even see your mouse on such a big screen.
What does that have to do with now in the age of extremely cheap, large, and fast storage.
Okay I can’t figure it out, what makes it obviously AI?
