They plan to import workers with visas and then hold those visas over their heads to force them to work for peanuts.
I mean, they do this small-scale already.

I’ve started supporting the ACLU. They’ve been going after Trump like a terrier after a rat, so I feel I’m getting my money’s worth.
Hey, they asked for a random password, not a good one.
I’m just saying that’s what they think. Of course it’s going to fuck everything else over, but the people supporting this in the hallowed halls of congress seem to be in one of two camps lately.
They want the economy to crash.
One side because they like to crash businesses and then walk away with all the money, and they figure a country is no different.
And the other side will let them, because they want people to stop playing those degenerate evil video games. That it does great damage to the country is simply a just punishment for allowing such degeneracy in the first place, in their minds.
They literally didn’t say that
Y’know, it’s a lot easier to have a conversation when you don’t put words in the other person’s mouth.
Speaking as someone who lives in the Pacific Northwest, that shit can take full sun to full shade, grow insanely fast, and choke out even the largest trees. Leave a small piece in the soil by accident, and you’ve got a new monster-sized plant before you can blink.
It all depends on where you live. Lucky you that you live in a place where ivy behaves itself. Not everyone gets to be that lucky.
It was for a time, back in the 50s & 60s. From what I’ve heard bosses would try and set up their unmarried junior employees with a ‘good match’ too, sometimes.
Thankfully, Pony, now 21, was rescued by the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation, and now lives at one of their rehabilitation centres.
I take solace in the fact that she was rescued and is now living a safe, happy life.
Maybe because they’re trying to get people to pet a blue-ringed octopus?
No-one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away, until the clock wound up winds down, until the wine they made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone’s life is only the core of their actual existence.

I am sorry for your loss. May her memory forever climb mountains alongside you.
Not in this post, true, but in pretty much all her other ones.
But they do? Along with any other animal that happens to be nearby.
That is the one insect I will go out of my way to kill.
I’d say yes… except he does it to smart and digital watches too.
My snake likes to wrap around and ‘strangle’ watches. Not bracelets, just watches.
I always thought the fact that turning our heads too fast can give us strokes was rather inconvenient.
Yeah, but at least most of those still have multiple toes to spread the weight around. Horses decided to get rid of that completely.
Montana is banning those. Expect a nationwide ban to come soon.
