I was told to use Mint because I was told it would work with modern hardware.

I had to search that exact list last month and then wait a month for this specific wifi adapter to ship to me when I assumed I could use my brand new realtek usb wifi adapter

If you read through the list you will see the company in the article has the only wifi adapter that claims to actually have support

Just built a brand new linux desktop, no wifi dongles work in it.

If I want wifi i need specifically order from this company.

I get it dictators are shit and we should kill them, but having a society where people’s needs are met makes society easier to control. It’s literally good for the CCP to make people’s lives better so they don’t get hung.

I don’t think taking away their money would instantly fix their sociopathic tendencies, but it would allow them to actually engage with real human society again and the community and experiences from that would help to build empathy again.

I think collecting applications for months just to tell 99% of applicants they wasted their time is part of what’s making the job market so horrible, that and most job postings being fake.

For service jobs and really any job that doesn’t require special licenses there’s absolutely no good reason why they shouldn’t hire one of the first to apply instead of holding out.

Given enough time.

Obviously professions that take years to study have that barrier to entry.

But if your job isn’t life or death most likely they will already have to teach you everything you need to know on the job.
