Man, I miss my Black Krims. I salute you!
Already begun the switch to linux on smaller pcs. Moving to some larger ones this summer to verify initial impressions… big gaming pcs going in fall.
Well… BYE Felicia
The roche limit usually just refers to the effects of gravity upon a smaller object, and how it can potentially break it up in orbit. For black holes it’s not really the same effect. The only thing that does affect black holes is the moment their event horizons touch, which then drags the smaller black hole into an inevitable merger of the two.
Well, at least they’ve got a full team for the next Mass Effect? Until they get hit in the next mass layoff, that is.
I wonder how many writers they actually keep b/c it feels like none
A huge part of my youth was spent in BioWare worlds. They’re robbing me through pure nostalgia at this point.
You can’t take it back. What you can do is have a trademark of sorts and sue anyone using it without your permission for damages, which if won, is a lot more than it would have cost them to just pay the sub.
When one server goes down, it’s taken out back, shot, and replaced on the line.
And then Skynet remembers…
Installed Bazzite on a laptop during Christmas Break while bored at my folks and was delighted at how well it ran. Hope my statistic counted even if it was at the last second!
Edit to say that the only thing I had trouble with was getting an OpenVPN split connection to run, consulted AI, and even had THAT sorted in half an hour. While there are many criticisms of AI, I don’t think harnessing its power to help new users administer Linux is anything short of game changing.
Good thing Bazzite is turning out to be such a winner. The countdown to complete switch has begun.
I’d love to be a fly on the wall <3
The normal behavior of corporations IS bad. By definition.
Mass Effect. Always new choices waiting for you
Literally on the heels of the revelation that China is spying on all chats and phone calls, these clowns still think back doors are safe in any way.
I swear, humanity is simply failing the IQ test here.
What’s weird is I do! After decades of watching and learning I think we’re a 3-dimensional species that can only mathematically measure things via 2-dimensional thinking. (We can only visualize space-time in a single plane for example mentally, honestly)
All the things that ‘disappear into nothing’ like singularities and even UFO’s I think simply are 4th dimensional in nature if not higher. They dip in and out of what we can perceive and the beings that live there are amused at us crawling around like ants in an ant-hill.
With the number of ‘impossible’ things I’m seeing each day in the news, this video was met with an optimistic shrug and a bottle of wine before work.
The Mass Effect Trilogy. By the time I was fighting in London I wondered where this game had been all my life.
I’ve never been able to get a launcher to work on Linux and it’s frustrating. Gonna give Bazzite a try soon though. Best of luck OP, I feel your pain.
As he mentioned, the OS is Linux specifically. Just this week they literally removed support for Linux on Battlefield 1 and there was a helpful message as to why when you tried to play the game that had previously worked fine.
Success!
Only one computer left on Windows in my household and only because of gaming. Everything else is on either Linux Mint or Bazzite as I finalize testing. Windows is dead to me.
