As someone with hundreds of hours but never having gotten anywhere near a rocket launch, what is yumako?
I am old. I am still not over JavaScript existing outside of a browser.
I’m in my mid thirties and didn’t know this was a thing until now.
The PC pod racing game was fun. At least, I thought it was at the time.

I originally saw it as somebody using 2 different symbols for the 2 different sounds that “th” can make. That at least makes sense. Simply replacing the letters with one character (one not on a standard keyboard, btw) regardless of which sound they make is just extra effort for the sake of it.
I was getting annoyed at seeing Hollow Knight mentioned here, thinking it was only a couple years old. According to Steam it was released in 2017. Damn. Haven’t even heard of those other games though.

Take the screen out of a steam deck and call it a day.
Almost. Also put the dual stage triggers back in.
At least pain/croissant au chocolat gives you an idea of what it is. Chocolatine? Sure, I’d assume that chocolate was involved, but I wouldn’t even be 100% on that.
You’d have to interact with people. No meal I’ve bought has been THAT expensive.
I stand corrected. No idea what I was reading (several years ago), but whatever it was made it seem way more complicated. Maybe it was just an explanation from somebody who didn’t know.
Tried reading about endianness once. Pretty sure it can’t be dumbed down enough for my brain.
Is the y-axis supposed to be the sound they make? I’ve never encountered those words before.
It’s a graph. Literally two spectrums overlaid onto each other.

Had to pick my sister and niece up from O’hare. I was a little nervous on the way there, but once they were in the car with me I was terrified.

Could we stop saying that computers “could never do” things? It always gets proven wrong. Anything we can detect as humans has some physical reason that we can detect it. Sensors can detect it more effectively. To suggest that you can’t program a computer to know what those sensors are supposed to be reading is just absurd.
I just looked up VirtuaGirl, and apparently it’s still a thing. Looks like someone even had it running through wine several years ago.

I’ve never thought about it. I’ve never even seen the stuff before. The name turned me away from ever trying it, and this thread is only cementing that.

I guess the mold is a blueish color, but that’s mold. Not cheese. If a block of cheese in my fridge looks like that then I somehow managed to not return home for months and now need to throw out everything.
Think they covered that
