That is a much more reasonable take, for sure. I would do the same, and probably go one step further and ask mods to step in.
In this case I don’t think OP is spamming patch notes, they just found this on interesting.
Nice, I will have to check it out
Appreciate the thoughtful response, and I get it. We all are trying to get by the best we can, and corpos are not making things easy. Have a good one too
I think it is the best they, and that is why they did not show the others. Probably quite easily debunked based on multiple photos.
lol, what? This is a general gaming community. Also, that implies people can only post about games you are playing, which is such a wild take
Yup, it was shitty of the CEO to praise Trump’s pick for FTC and the republican party in general. He was clearly sucking up to Trump. But he also did not remove a bunch of holidays from the calendar and reiterated they will continue ignore subpoenas from the US. I don’t like what he said (and I had a talk with my partner about whether we should look elsewhere) but that is not bending the knee. It is a push and pull in regards to consuming products from awful companies and fulfilling needs. As long as they keep not complying with the US, I am tentatively going to stay with Proton. If you don’t agree, that’s fine, but no need to be a jerk about it.
Just started using. It seems to be a good calendar. We got the 2 person Proton account and family sharing is great. I think you can also share it with any another Proton account.
So 2 dead kids is acceptable and makes it a discriminate attack. How many dead children before it is indiscriminate?
Sloppy steaks?
We eat like a lot of eggs in the US, and bird flu hit chickens like a 1000 trucks. I haven’t bought any recently, but I also just really like eggs. Breakfast sandwiches are one of my favorite things, so I can see people paying top dollar
I found that info too. Shame they did not keep it up to date. But yeah, it is such a tough thing to keep track of for every company.
Yes indeed. Everyone I know is a fart that is too loud away from crisis a lot of the time, including myself.
Oh I get it 100%. It is so hard to keep going and push through the BS. But remember, the exhaustion is the point of their tactic. They want to exhaust people and resources so when the dust settles we are out of will and ability to fight. Pick your battles, bide your time, and don’t burn too hot. I know, easier said than done
Appreciate the mea culpa.
It might take too much hands on, but a tagging system could work.
Something like
[Independent Media] Article Title
[Corporate Media] Article Title
That also requires the poster to understand the source, which may or may not be the case
Holy extrapolation Batman. I do have an issue with a newspaper that has a history of transphobia, but note that my original comment said it shouldn’t be your “only source.” That is a pretty mild criticism and does not suggest a “personal beef.”
as someone who has worked in journalism since the '90s, slights against The Guardian are grievances.
Maybe, just maybe, you should take a step back and see how your personal experience might give you some rose colored biases of your own
They have a history

And yes, some of those sources are no longer trustworthy, but the articles still show the history. Going back further, they employed known TERFs as writers. They did fire them eventually, but only after a lot of backlash
I never said you should go to Gannett either. And believe it or not, I am capable of caring about two things at the same time.
I don’t think a heavily transphobic paper should be your only source.
I am in Jayapal’s district and have been for a long time. I don’t think I have ever seen a fundraising email from her. I’m sure she does them, but she is generally really good on the issues so I don’t think she has to do as much.
