Lol lemmyworlders will have to join a cool server to travel the left-handed path.
More of a pegging board than a peg board, innit?
Pivoting back to blovkchain bb
You could theoretically use the shittiest local llm you can find to dynamically create slop for the piggies

Dude Montreal is currently insanity. You couldn’t pay me to drive there. Lovely city otherwise
American copyright law? Basically every research institution in America pays them lots of money for electronic subscriptions in order to not get sued. Like academics don’t give a fuck and will use scihub or email a friend or whatever but their institution will just subscribe to a plausible number of things to avoid drawing the attention of the publishers. For profit research like pharma or industrial chem are even more buttoned up because they are much juicier targets for potential IP suits.
Neither would we if we had more trains…
Well for the first several hundred years they actually produced a product that they mailed to people and that took employees and infra that the various unis didn’t care to have (with some exceptions for university presses like Oxford and Cambridge). Now it’s 100% momentum and branding. You publish in Science because that’s the impressive one for Science.
Gotta isolate the bad press to the obvious turd even though I bet they all have a similar system with similar flaws
No no you don’t understand: the cars will simply drive themselves around which means they can just endlessly circle the block instead of parking, creating more traffic and wasting more energy… Shit where was I going with this
Also if it’s integrated poorly. Like if you have the human only serve as a secondary check to the AI, which is mostly right, you condition the human to just click through and defer to the AI. The better way to do this would be to have both the human and AI judge things independently and review carefully where they disagree but that won’t save anyone money.
