But then we would have never gotten the classic that is Hotel Mario.
But then we would have never gotten the classic that is Hotel Mario.
…but at the time we had no clear idea what a real landing would end up like…
Surveyor - “What am I? Chopped liver???”
One of my favorite fun facts about video game consoles is that both the PlayStation and CD-i exist largely due to Nintendo being an ass to Sony and Phillips while looking for a CD-ROM add-on for the SNES to compete with the Sega CD. After getting the run around, both companies basically said ‘fine fuck it we are making our own consoles with blackjack and hookers…’
The best chance for a campy spy series that has already tried the gritty reboot ploy???
Did they ever make the excess ink parts user replaceable?
That they weren’t in some models kept me from getting one when I was in the market a few years ago.
In some ways the WiiU was more powerful. For instance the Korok Forest area isn’t nearly as laggy on the WiiU. Also the WiiU was powering 2 screens at once.
The Switch is barely 5 years newer than the WiiU and uses a mobile chipset like a phone (an Nvidia Tegra specifically) where the WiiU used the same desktop class chipset that was in the Xbox 360 and PS3.
I don’t understand why so many people here keep saying that it’s too hard to make a small phone when all these companies literally make watches with 5G connections…
Spending profits on stock buybacks and bonuses is literally the opposite of wanting to grow.
No they do not. They need to break even only. Profit is the result of charging customers too much, paying employees too little, or enshitification.
If you are in dire need, and haven’t already, try finding a local salvage yard (junkyard, breakers yard, etc. depending on your location) and pulling the parts you need from there.
Rogue One was good because they knew it was going to be a one off and they felt comfortable taking risks. The same reason Halo: Reach is lauded as one of the better Halo games.
In my opinion too many franchises try to toe some line and end up falling short of expectations as a result.
People aren’t okay with mediocrity. Monopolistic practices make it hard to have other choices.
Personally, I am just not going to use the smallest screen I own to do most of the tasks they are pushing AI for. They can keep making them bigger and it’s still just going to be a phone first. If this is what they want then why can’t I just have the Watch and an iPad?
