it’s not as easy as it sounds. The hosting on Twitch wasn’t just for videos but for the chat logs synced to that video as well. So you can’t just download the videos and upload them somewhere else you have to download them using Twitch’s shitty tools so that you get the chat as well.

That takes a lot of time but they only got about a month to do that. And that assumes that one actually has the time, energy, access and expertise to download the stuff. What about disabled streamers? What about families of deceased streamers? They now have a month to figure all this stuff out if they even receive the news at all.

Blizzard games have always run very well in Wine. And when people have been erroneously banned for using Wine that was rectified pretty quickly.

So while there hasn’t been any official support, the unofficial support wasn’t that bad either.

They probably expect you to use a new section with h1 for each uhhh section where you would use a h2 tag. So I gueas the h2 didn’t get any new styling information at all.

In the end it’s a mess most devs just fix with their own stylesheet.

This will probably hit downstream users who don’t even know (or care) what service the application they use is hosted on.

Don’t bother with the latest game in the series Double Exposure. It plays like a lazy cheap cash grab.

But the same devs as the original also recently released Lost Records: Bloom & Rage that’s supposed to be good. It’s similar but not officially part of the series due to rights issues.

Same with Tell Me Why, which is free every pride month. Personally I found it to be boring but others seem to like it.

Nowadays rspamd is used instead of Spamassassin. Maybe that one has tools to do what you want.

I always liked the idea of these games more than the games themselves.

I’m doing all of this on a Steam Deck.

I just did my own instance with blackjack, hookers and crack.

Programming Diarrhea 4 literally made my chronic pain worse. I’m still not sure if it was worth it.

I’m not running SteamOS.

I think they are waiting for Chromium to fully support Wayland before they ship Steam for Wayland.

But by now I’ve also found a workaround to get the Steam keyboard working on Wayland.

Damn, Valve going against fan projects is really weird. Especially considering that most of their biggest games are former mods. And they let just about anyone do something in the Half Life universe.

It has been a literal lifesaver. Long COVID has tied me to my bed and with the Deck I can at least keep playing games.

It’s just a PC with integrated gamepad. Almost all emulators work on Linux as well. It’s even powerful enough to run Switch games. I’ve emulated everything from C64 over general Mame, PS1 and up to Switch.

The only “suboptimal” thing is that it doesn’t have the best button layout for N64 and Sega consoles. Still Starfox 64 was a lot of fun.

ScummVM and DOSBox also run great. And I love that I can easily configure the controls to play adventure games with one hand on either side.

Honestly, there is hardly anything it can’t do.

“Unreleased” is a very generous description.

Funnily enough it made me just find ways to deal with all of them comfortably. In the end I buy from GOG or Steam or Itch. And still have hundreds of games on Epic and some even on Ubisoft’s and EA’s launchers.
