Yeah its kinda based lol

Yeah my loyalty to them comes from the fact that they treat me like they value my business. Every company says they do, but they help when help is needed and get out of the way when it isn’t. The only other businesses I feel that way towards are small restaurants and bars. It’s not an unconditional loyalty but so long as they treat me right they’ll keep my business.
Also it was just brazenly clear they never talked to gamers and were aiming for a nonexistent customer. Cloud based gaming (i think that’s what they were trying to sell) might attract a few people, but it’s obviously a bad idea and it was clearly being phoned in as part of a “we have decided this is what we will tell thr customer to want” type deal.
That would wind up being one of those court cases lawyers love citing wherever they get the chance
Linux support isn’t about competing with them, it’s about competing with xbox
Yeah really the strategy is chasing resilience and value rather than profit. And the strategy is called reasonable long term planning. Yeah they’re throwing millions into Linux now, because the alternative is being at the mercy of Microsoft who is a competitor with a known monopolistic streak.
Adding features is choosing to stay ahead of any competition now or in the future and to maintain the skills of your devs.
Exactly. Steam makes it easier and better than piracy. That said I paid for my games. I recognize that they say they’re a license or whatever, but nah, they remove access, I go get what I’ve purchased elsewhere.
As a native speaker yeah though depending on where I am I may assume a non native speaker because it’s an irregular adjective-noun pairing and I know that’s the sort of thing that trips people up
Now I know this isn’t a new observation or anything and I never watched episode 9, but in 7 and 8 Rey felt like just as much of a Mary Sue as Luke did in the ot. Now the well worn observation is that Luke Skywalker is like, the textbook Marty Stu.
Welcome to feminist media analysis. It’s an existing academic field and you can find books and YouTube videos on it (and it can go pretty deep into related topics).
One of my favorite examples was when the creators of Avatar the Last Airbender were deciding to create their sequel about the next avatar they decided to make their protagonist a woman and executives at nickelodeon complained that boys wouldn’t be able to relate to a female protagonist.
The explanation I’ve largely heard that makes sense to me is that women are taught women are generally expected to learn to empathathize with male protagonists whereas the inverse is much more optional. You have plenty of men who do get into wonder woman and she ra and korra, my childhood best friends are among them, but you also get a lot of men who don’t in a way where I can’t think of an inverse that I’ve seen
Nutvana
They’re generally better and more reasonable people than anyone would’ve ever guessed. Their fans are too. Generally they’re just traumatized lower class Midwesterners with their hearts in the right places in my experience.
Ask any illinoisan what the tallest tower in Chicago is and you won’t hear the name that’s on the building. And good for them
It’s common for women to undergo a name change when marrying
Yeah just imagine if his takeaway from getting into cyberpunk had been user serviceable disability aids that are aesthetically cool.
Like i get being into the aesthetics of fiction. I love me some elfcore shit and a variety of sci-fi aesthetics. But man you gotta think about practicality
And alternatively, for excel once you leave the realm of a single person entering data for a single project over time sizes you start entering the “why does this take 10 minutes to open” territory
Yep, and any attempt to replace them with a purpose designed government ID has gotten conspiracy nuts to shut it down
It’s absolutely the second one. They basically all had brain damage from ww1 (who knew explosions are bad for you) and several of them including Hitler were drugged the fuck up. Julius Streicher was a clown, but not like a funny or sad clown, more like pathetic, like honestly comparable to someone from 8chan. Goebbels was a creepy loser. Hitler was a meth addict with ibs and anger issues who spent his last days just destroying the air quality of the bunker he would die in and kept invading countries despite already being at war. Heidrich died by personally chasing after antifascists who happened to have a grenade. And that’s not touching on their archeological or spiritual beliefs which are on par with qanon for believability and sensibility
Meanwhile I used to drive a 99 Chrysler 300m and I swear it was one of the best vehicles I’ve driven. It only died because as an idiot 19 year old I thought the engine temperature gage could wait a day because I had to move into college.
That said it was the last car Chrysler made worth shit
Southerners are the same way. Nobody calls us yanks as a compliment
