Please bro just one more algorithm bro…
And yet, two typos in this sentence alone… I hope you’re more careful about proofreading your configs.
Looking back, boy did they have vision. I get that the Power Glove wasn’t all it was cracked up to be but Nintendo really saw early on how we want to interact with our machines.
Then somewhere along the way they realized they could make a lot of money by relicensing the same game over and over again, and suing their most loyal fans out of existence.

Source for this? I don’t doubt it but would love to be able to reference something.
These predatory companies make such a huff, like an abusive partner storming out while shouting “you don’t know what you’re missing!”
We do know, and we’ll be fine. 👋

Love this video but I always feel as nervous watching it as he seems calm.
From the article:
"…journalist Liz Pelly has conducted an in-depth investigation, and published her findings in Harper’s—they are part of her forthcoming book Mood Machine: The Rise of Spotify and the Costs of the Perfect Playlist.
…
"Now she writes:
‘What I uncovered was an elaborate internal program. Spotify, I discovered, not only has partnerships with a web of production companies, which, as one former employee put it, provide Spotify with “music we benefited from financially,” but also a team of employees working to seed these tracks on playlists across the platform. In doing so, they are effectively working to grow the percentage of total streams of music that is cheaper for the platform.’
In other words, Spotify has gone to war against musicians and record labels."
“The anonymized face blends seamlessly into its original photograph…”
Um… yep
The 3.2B part seems needlessly hyperbolic
The best part of this is that every search you run has the same environmental impact as clearcutting the Amazon
Not even “pseudo-”… well done
Super cool! Apparently the same guy developed both Valetudo and the Midea dehumidifier project you linked.
Thanks for sharing all this. I go through phases with music and it’ll be great to have some new bands to check out.
Back in the day I got a kick out of this site and would send it to people who were just learning about and starting to get into metal: https://mapofmetal.com
As someone unfortunately in the US, we have a different approach to viral pandemics. Many of us submit to viral supremacy and fall in line (deny proven methods of pathogen spread / buy killer trucks and oppose efforts for mass transit and safer transportation options). Then we rush to accept the virus as “endemic” (if not simply “God’s will”).
