I don’t like the weight of the steam deck. I like the form factor of the switch. I also like doing hardware mods. It’s fun to do.

I’m going to buy a switch two, which they usually sell the hardware for close to cost. Then I’m gonna leave it in the box and wait until a mod chip comes out that lets me play every game for free.

My brother used to do chewing tobacco. He would spit into pop bottles. He left one laying around in the kitchen. I tried to steal a sip of what I thought was A&W root-beer. It was the same colour.

The lemmy devs should add a feature to their website where you can just create and account and it creates and account on an instance that is closest geographically to the IP address you are connecting from and is federated with the most servers.

Single place for normies to make an account and they don’t have to think about the federation bits, but if they get interested they can always make an account manually on another instance.

This may sound like heresy, but I think some games are better on handheld consoles and some are better on the PC. Really depends on the vibe you’re wanting.

StarCraft for example. Definitely better on PC, almost impossible to play on console.

Mario Kart or Zelda or many of the Nintendo games. I just either want to play them with friends or just chill on my bed and play them. Sure you could make some kind of PC setup to work the same way, but consoles are very user friendly.
