I think this list says more about the current state of Xbox (and the games released in 2023/2024) than Halo Infinite.

Where’s the gameplay content? Seems like most of the cool stuff is in the shop… Killing seasons means my initial $10 investment I could get back from the Battle Pass and reinvest into the next one is done. I don’t think I’m going to be spending more money on this game.

I really don’t like this new system. They are masking more fomo microtransactions by saying they are giving us more time to do operations compared to events. Super two-faced considering we could do events at the same time as the battle pass previously. This is just adding more grind by basically having 3 smaller season passes and trying to get you to buy into all of them.

Sure, but can I do both simultaneously if I purchase the battle pass? In seasons 1-4 you complete event challenges at the same time as your active battle pass. Since there are no more event challenges and challenges gain you XP towards operations, I assume you the answer is no sadly.

Can you have a battle pass and an operation equipped at the same time? The way that the free dates line up (but don’t overlap) makes me think you probably can’t.

I don’t think I like “operations”. Locking some (presumably the best) customization from the event and one of challenge slots behind a 500 credit paywall is sorta crappy. It’s basically a second premium battle pass that we don’t need.

Sounds like Firefight is season 6 then?

It’s finally to the place it should have been a couple months after launch. Sucks it has taken so long, but it is finally in a good place so if they keep adding content I will keep playing.

Edit: Also M&K finally feels competitive, which is great.
