Yeah, wtf, asking for story yet missing the point in Doom which has the simplest story of them all: demons are bad and you need to kill them to save humanity.
I can’t really help with the topic since I don’t care for story in my shooty-shooty boom booms and prefer to get into action as soon as possible and keep at it, but I guess the Far Cry series has some story in it. Maybe skip the first one since controller support might be iffy. Also Crysis, don’t know about the latter ones but first one is great until a certain point after which it’s okay.
Same here, in addition to him pushing drama I couldn’t care less about and padding out his videos
Oh man I’m so sad shitty streamer culture and the toxicity it brought killed Sub Rosa. Played it a ton while it was still on version 0.07b and even more niche, later when the “world” mode was introduced and which got more popular than round mode it went downhill steadily with obnoxious players becoming the norm.
Apparently Revolver Digital pushing for updates from a one man team didn’t help, either. I really hope CrypticSea will continue the game at some point but that seems unlikely. A truly unique game.
E: Also Intruder, which I’m not sure is still alive but might have some active community. Great game but very niche with bit of a learning curve.
Even then, for whatever reason, a (grantedly cheap) 3,5mm->USB-C adapter my dad bought didn’t work at all on his iPhone while it works just fine on my Android
I got ran over by a car while on my bike at a roundabout bike & pedestrian crossing: I’m so glad it was a normal sized Opel instead of a tank. Only got a bruise on my butt and even my bike just needed the front wheel realigned. If it was a F-whatever monstrosity I would’ve been hurt much, much worse.
Personal vehicles in cities should be limited anyways and public transportation/pedestrian & biking paths encouraged. I hate the dust rising from stud tires grinding asphalt.
I also had problems installing Win10 years ago, the problem was I had more than one drive plugged in… Took me half a day to figure that out.
The only problem with installing Linux (pop_OS this time) was I didn’t flash my USB stick properly, so user error. Also, could be my old Kingston Datatraveler isn’t well suited for the job
Don’t even want to think how badly installing Win11 now would break my system…
I made the jump recently, too, after having to use W11 for my studies… Figured that the one multiplayer game I play that actually needs Windows to work (and that’s purely because the dev’s won’t enable anticheat on Linux) is not too much of a sacrifice when the alternative would be giving out the possibility to tune the OS to my liking.
Bye bye Windows, you were “great” during XP and W7 times!
The tracks look maybe a bit too arcadey and smooth & slick for me, but might check it out. I’ve been coddled by Dirt Rally…
