The other day I had lightning strike super close to my house (about 2 seconds to hear the huge thunder crack). It occurred to me that I didn’t actually know how lightning worked so I looked it up, reminded me that nature is fucking wild. And then, you’re right, we saw that and were like “let’s get it in our house fellas”

These are beautiful! I love the diversity of texture in the different tendrils.

I have ADHD and can’t seem to actually finish a god damn project, but starting them is easy! So…

Woodworking/carving:

• spoonula that I literally just need to finish sanding
• trinket bowl
• need to bleach and oil a dozen cheese knives I otherwise finished six months ago lol
• espresso tamper
• compost tamper

Sewing:

• a bunch of swaddle blankets for some pregnant friends
• UPF fabric kaftan for the beach
• slipcover for my office chair
