I’m perfectly fine switching back to a “feature phone” aka dump phone that takes phone calls and sends texts. If it also could be used as a music/podcast playiner, that’d be great too.

I had a family friend of my Nana from Hungary make a dessert from blueberries before my eyes when I was 14.
Rinse and place blueberries in a saucepan. If they’re a bit tart, add 1 or 2 Tablespoons of sugar. Warm of medium heat until some of the berries pop, creating juice. Optionally, add 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice. Remove from heat and let cool. Serve warm or chilled with a large dollop of sour cream.
Yep. I’ve joined the buycot for Lent. I put off all purchases there until after Easter and Passover are over.
I always thought it was named after Maynard G. Krebs. [you rang]
Back in the mid-80s, when I got an email from HR about the Christmas Party at the local office, I sent a reply to the district HR manager complaining that not everyone in the company celebrated Christmas. Later that day, another email came out announcing the Holiday Party. So glad I had a hand in educating HR.
Old Chemists never die. We just fail to react.
40 years ago at UCLA, I had to do my FORTRAN programs on punch cards submitted through the batch system. The CS/Math department (no CS department then), only offered 1 section in FORTRAN with 40 others in PASCAL. And it was taught by an Engineering professor. Why would a Chemistry major take a computer science class? Remember all those shiny machines CSI uses to do forensic analysis? They came from chem labs.
Another one by the same moving company apparently. I hope it was a different driver and their new insurance policy will cover this.
