I couldn’t get into that one. Idk if the controls felt clunky or what. Should I stick with it? I’ve been thinking about trying it again
Famous story of a son who broke both arms and the mom felt bad he couldn’t masturbate so she started jerking him which led to more…
It’s very fucked up story. But whenever a similar topic comes up someone has to say “I bet he had broken arms” or something like that.
Similar one is “shoes came off so he’s definitely dead” whenever some fall or other force throws someone to the ground.
It was funny at one point… Maybe like 6 years ago. But like jfc there’s no original thought, just echo chamber zingers.
Oh another one: “I also choose this guy’s dead wife”
A lot more comments like reddit that are the quick (very tired) zingers. I was happy to get away from that but I’m sort of thinking of putting lemmy down if it gets worse.
I don’t need your “this.” Or “broken arms” or “that’s insulting to trash” etc.
It’s beyond tired. But it gets up voted and can dominate the comments section. I appreciate threads like this one that promote actual discussion.
Civilization 6, Helldivers 2, fallout 4, and elden ring are all in the several hundreds of hours for me. I’ve got some decent time into cyberpunk 2077, valehim, no mans sky, and the wither 3 wild hunt too.
Nothing approaching 1k hrs yet…

I’ve heard notion calendar is the best calendar software out there. If it also supports reminders really well (and I’m already a notion user), then maybe this is worth checking out.
For me it’s reminders. I use slack for work, and whenever anything comes up that I need to take care of (personal or work related) I’ll tell slack “/remind me about <thing> tomorrow/next week”.
I’ve been doing this for years. I have it on my phone and computer so it’s easy to view and add new reminders whenever I need. I didn’t think slack is crucial to use but I find it to be the most convenient, even more so then dedicated reminder apps
Nor I to a better sex life
I can feel my hand cramping just looking at this.
Not even remotely comparable situations
Nah. It doesn’t say not to plan. It says to prefer responding to change over planning. Which means both happen but responding to change is more crucial. Or put another way don’t let your plan get in the way of responding to change.
I’m sure you were being sarcastic, but I get kind of tired of the Agile strawman and people shitting on it. It’s not a complex philosophy yet people extrapolate so much (too much) and then get annoyed when their assumptions don’t pan out well. even performing sprints is an extrapolation, so this meme gets it wrong too.
Thank you for reminding me of this game. I think it is Microsoft ants

Do those things give you DJ and radio options? I’m too lazy to go find the songs I want. I’d rather just let the app put on tunes and learn what I like based on feedback and behavior.
About 90 min according to my settings screen time. Looks like it divides into ~10 sessions throughout the day, each lasting 1-15 min.
I hardly use mine. I bring it with me on plane rides but find myself just watching movies instead. Trying to play on a plane and having to share an arm rest, idk it works out better in my head than in practice.
I find I really need to play a game consistently to stay interested, and that makes the deck hard cuz I reserve lighter games for it, like ori, but since I play so infrequently I don’t really end up being interested in the game I startup on there.
OTOH I play PC regularly, no battery concerns, much larger screen, better visual fidelity. The deck just isn’t reinforcing enough.
Imagine spending money to own a physical copy of something you could pirate for free.
Imagine owning a physical library of movies, 90% of which are one time watches anyway.
Silly.
