A whole new generation of the Kobo readers just came out too!
I’ve got one of the previous Gen and I was so happy to find they have models with the clicky buttons to turn the page.

The main thing stopping me is that I only use my PC for gaming, and I know the support for drivers etc isn’t as good on Linux (though I know this is debated).
However if Linux became more centralised, with a “gaming first” distro like this, the graphics drivers would have a “main test case” to work with.
This is my theory anyway.
Speaking as someone who was thrown into being a pedestrian in this city with no training:
Just go slow and steady (don’t dash forwards) and the cyclists will go around you. Telegraph what you’re up to if you’re worried.
The only reason cars would be safer if because of how ineffective they’d be (i.e. average speed of 2km/h).
Stuff like knowing that standing on red means you’re in the bike lane makes it a lot less scary.
And yeah the worst spots are directly outside the central station, and probably on the bridges in the Jordaan. Apart from that you can pick up the rhythm in under an hour.
Ah well it seems like you’re covered for the holiday season! Enjoy.
Haha ok well over Christmas I usually play KotOR one or two (with the big fan made mods and sometimes difficulty mods).
But this year I’m doing a Rogue Trader playthrough instead.
Also Stalker Gamma may make an appearance but that’s a whole thing to set up (if you don’t want to install mods etc).
In terms of Total War burnout I recommend trying the SFO mod (big overhaul of balance and mechanics) on WH3. It for sure breathes new life into the older factions.
And for some strategic top-down Real-time-with-pause fun, try Doorkickers or Doorkickers 2. Game 1 is older but a full release, whereas game 2 is at the end of a loooong early access, but it still my preference. Probably game 1 is <$10 though.
If you’re still looking for something, just point me in a direction and I’ll send more. This is my jam.
It really depends on what you like.
Satisfactory was a lot of fun for me but others might not like it.
Stalker 2 the same.
I’m a big Total War nut also.
And Veilguard was good if a little watered down.
I played like 20 hrs of satisfactory last year lol.
However the joke was good so imma let it slide.
This time.

I’ve also been playing games that haven’t been released yet.
Has there ever been an extraction shooter that released?
To be clear, the rest was developed in Prague (after they fled the Russian invasion).
No parts that I know of were made in Russia.
Warhammer Rogue trader has one character laugh and shout “haha! Reduced to dust” on a kill.
You don’t know any 5yo software engineers?
This does have the vibe of those pro-billionaire articles the Washington Post puts out…
Great, so when they abandon the nuclear project in 18mths who will maintain them?
It took me a moment to notice those weren’t specifically security terms…
I know the streamer Okoii has been doing streams of B&W2 recently and he had some instructions in the first one about how to get it running.
Not sure if that helps. Not sure if you wanted to play the game or play something like it.
Oh don’t worry, there’s going to be more.
A lot of companies are working on live service games in hope of being the next overwatch/destiny.
Some even have multiple (like Sony) in the hope that even one of them takes off.
Yeah I agree
The absolute lack of any kind of consistency with layout or alignment makes me cringe too.
It’s just shows how they’re just glued onto the page with no care or planning. Especially no consideration to the user or user experience.
I literally downloaded this two days ago. Wtf
That’s not how Capitalism works!

The larger company simply needs to create/invent problems that the smaller company cannot solve, and then sell a solution.
And buy them out at some point too. Very important step.
