I’ve only ever played the first three Resident Evils (and only completed Director’s Cut & 2!); having a lot of fun going back and playing through all of the experiences I missed growing up.

The now I hear about GTA6, the more confident I get that my pessimism towards this franchise’s future is warranted.
No Dan Houser, no Lazlow Jones, hell - probably NONE of the same dev team at all from GTAV (let alone earlier).
This is likely going to end up some weird “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” style monster where some gatcha/shark card filled “live service” is going to go around masquerading as the next entry in this franchise.
At the moment I’m 50/50 between switching over to Linux full-time, or full booting Windows 10 LTSC.
But having had to use it for work, I am adamant in saying that Windows 11 will never touch my home system drive.
Recently picked up both Silent Hill 2, and Resident Evil 4 (both for the PS2); and having never played either, I’m excited!
Bully is absolutely brilliant, and largely as slept on compared to its GTA brethren.
You can also check out Red Dead Revolver, Manhunt and The Warriors to experience the rest of what amounted to Rockstar experimenting with various gameplay mechanics before implementing them into the GTA-series proper.
A long time ago, I had a pair of Puma shoes that had a similar look to F1 driving shoes, and they were awesome due to their light weight and thin soles - ever since then I’ve a convert to that style of shoe.
Maybe consider the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66? It’s a timeless design with plenty of colorways, so you should be able to get one that suits your tastes. They are also available in mid-runner form in case you want more of a boot fit (padded ankle).
Have you given any thought to switching to a LTSC version of Windows 10 Enterprise? There are a few trade-offs from what I can see, but at least it eliminates the issue of no security updates for up to 5 more years.
I’m still mulling over the pro’s and con’s - curious on what you think.
It’d hopefully allow you to keep Civ6 multiplayer going for the time being until (if/when) the Linux issues get solved?
I’m a PC that’s not currently “compatible” with Windows 11, because I’m too lazy/refuse to enable TPM 2.0 in my BIOS.
Given how much of a pain in the ass my work machine is with Win 11 — I’d honestly rather switch to Linux than deal with it on my home system.
I’ve been tinkering with my Steam Deck for almost a year, and haven’t been able to accidentally brick it - it’s definitely come a long way from where it was back in my uni days (early 00s).

Thank you for bringing this glorious thing to my attention!
Glass is also quite heavy, increasing logistics costs for transport - but in an ideal world where everything runs off renewable energy sources and stupid people didn’t ruin things for the rest of us - glass would indeed be the ideal medium.
I am aware; but when the options are an entirely plastic container (clear, and readily able to oxidise and leech microplastics when exposed to light over long periods of time) versus a lined metal can (which is at least opaque) - cans are remain the lesser of two evils.
I agree with the overall sentiment; but there is no way in hell that canned water is worse than plastic bottles.
Aluminium is infinitely more/easily recyclable than plastic, and has a much lower negative impact on the environment.
But to reiterate, filling up your own bottle from the tap is preferred - but if you have to buy water in a container: can > bottle
Thanks, I’ll check them out!
Based on the description, this is the one you’re referring to?
Is this the one?
Only reason I use it is because it’s seemingly the only browser on iOS that blocks YouTube ads, and allows for background play without paying for Premium.
If anyone knows how to do the same via Firefox (iOS), I’m all ears!
DuckDuckGo for day-to-day stuff, Bing for naughty content.
Todd in particular deserves a lot more attention/subscribers/success given how long he’s been around, and just how much content he’s released.
You shut your mouth; Unreal Tournament’99 and 2004 were both legitimately epic in their day!
Now get off my lawn… *damn kids today*
Would you happen to know whether this is something that a UserAgent spoofer would suffice to get around?
