Hey folks,

Made a post yesterday on [email protected]

Here it is on our instance: https://lemmings.world/post/21083652

It shows up whether I’m logged in or not, but I was surprised to see it at +1 after a day - so I checked [email protected] , and it’s missing from the New queue where I would expect to see it based on its position as seen on: https://lemmings.world/c/[email protected]

Thank you very much folks!

💭

Wonder how often this has happened to various Lemmings over the years… hopefully most folks know to try again somehow and don’t think they’re ignored! 🙂

I see this sometimes. Usually I just unvote and revote my own post and it makes it federate.

LW is running quite an old version which I suspect is the cause. I’ve seen it between there and feddit.uk (I don’t usually post from my lemmings world account).

That sadly happens from time to time. I federated the post manually, though I’m afraid that won’t be much help as it’s two days old now.

What @[email protected] said might help, any action on your post (comment, upvote, downvote etc.) causes a new federation and Lemmy automatically fetches the content that’s being upvoted/commented etc. if it doesn’t exist yet.
