What got President Musk & his sidekick elected, or rather what made their campaign successful?
Low IQ but high emotional intelligence or like sociopathic intelligence?
How stupid is this conspiracy theory:
If it were a threat, like “this is what you’re gonna be worth if you don’t accept, anyway” depending on how power drunk he was feeling when hitting Tweet
Why?!
Le epic 14 y/o troll mAStEr mOvE was doing the worst nonverbal political thing one can do and getting away with it without apologizing.
The centrists accept it might have been inadvertent. He’d never have the lefties anyway and the far right will, of course, absolutely love it. It’s the kind of thing a kid in shoes of power might dream up and run by the team and all have fits of laughter: “they can’t prove anything if you don’t say anything!”

Nice way to commemorate the Jan 6ers’ prison release. And great distraction, as it must be.
Is this a bad time to mention the Proton 2024 Lifetime account fundraiser for online freedom ends on January 5th?

Why was my first thought “ur mom has a 50-90 year life span (hope she joyfully exceeds/ed it)”
Anyway that’s cool, thanks for the SeaFax
I’ve had a similar experience and came to the same conclusion.
I like to answer questions as if an adult had asked them and then provide the dumbed down answer after.

Been experiencing this for days now: on Voyager iOS, the wheel spins and spins while posting comments before eventually posting after about 45sec to 2min. Testing from a browser with this comment to see if it’s faster!
Edit: this was instant, hmm, will have to try commenting on a thread on a different instance from browser.
BTW: you say [Solved] - how’s that?
Edit 2: something’s up. In browser:
1: I try to load the news community on Lemmy.world by visiting:
https://lemmings.world/c/[email protected]
And it takes 30 seconds to show any posts.
Then, I go to a post with 2 upvotes and 0 comments on Lemmings.world, then open it on Lemmy.World to see 241 upvotes and 24 comments.
The politicians may want the win for selfish reasons. You just want the best representatives for yourself, your loved ones, and your country.
This hypothetical allows you to weigh a party taking the moral high ground against representatives the average Lemming does not want making four years of policy decisions being in a position to do so.
You can give the party you want to win a spine, but it comes at a cost.
Interesting. Then I’m guessing you’d accept the time machine showed you the right outcome & would let the dems lose this election, but it would help them for the next/future elections?
Great, thank you!
Thank you @[email protected] for the info too 🙂
